Birch Ladle With a Hook for Hanging

A Bent branch ladle that makes me think of friends. 

A friend nico came to stay with me after spoonfest this year. On one of those lovely days me and Nico went to a local woodland with two big rucksacks each and a two man crosscut saw. There was a giant birch tree that had fallen over across a public footpath so me and Nico decided it was in everyones interest for us to clear up the tree and take it too my workshop (: the 3 mile walk back with 50kg each in our backpacks wasnt so fun...

This ladle started my love for big spoons and was where i feel my square shaped bowls have originated from. i love it and i hope you all do too!

Oiled with Hassui ceramic finish to keep its. clean look.
